- Infoplease A reference and learning site.
- Internet Archive: Access to collections of digitized materials, including websites, software applications/games, music, movies/videos, moving images, and millions of books.
- Library of Congress The official repository of knowledge and an extensive resource for the United States.
- LITHUB curates daily and weekly lists of engaging and informative articles from across the literary spectrum. They also publish original content and exclusive excerpts by great writers.
- Merriam-Webster Dictionary, Thesaurus and more.
- Project Gutenberg A collection of books in the public domain.
- Refdesk Fact Checker for the Internet, and much more than facts too.
